    my mom used to make these for my birthday since I'm not a big frosting eater and love pineapple...this really makes me hungry, salli! beautiful piece, too...

    Salli... love this illo. I remember this dessert as a kid and tried making it about 10 years ago for Mike and the kids. It was the worst flop I've ever made. To this day, they still don't let me forget it. It's an odd "special" memory!
