this beautiful hand printed tea towel was created by a local artist with a GREAT etsy site (here)...the image stayed in my head awhile and when i woke up I sat here and did this quick 5 minute sketch. my version of a thistle (cuz somehow the artichoke made me think "thistle"). kind of how i use other designers work as inspiration.
I love it! Your illustration has a great sense of movement and I love the color palette. Artichokes are thistles, so no wonder they made you think of them. Thanks for linking to my Etsy site.
